Can you remove it yourself?
If your tint is only a year or 2 old or a little older and spent all its life in a garage and has no signs of degredation, then Yes, DIY removal is possible.
Peel up an edge of the tint with a new razor blade and as long as two layers of tint come together, the tint layer and clear layer, then all your left with is glue. if you have got this far your on track. Use the blade in a corner to confirm there are no tint layers left, just glue on glass.
Many solvents will remove the glue. (by far the easiest solvent is unleaded petrol, this will make your car smell funky for some period however)

The first layer is coloured, the second is clear and the third is the glue. And they all come off separately and not only that they are baked on to the glass like concrete.
Where the tint is like new condition it is sometimes possible to remove it in two steps. 1. tint layer 2. Glue layer
So if you choose to remove tint from your windows the hardest layer is the glue layer, especially when the tint is degraded.
It is 99% of the time with degraded tint that it requires each layer to be removed separately. This is where we suggest you need our services.
